Kids & Clays Annual Sweeps Winners

December 15, 2015 By nssaadmin

The Kids & Clays Foundation 2015 National Sweepstakes has ended with winners drawn at the recent National Sporting Clays Championship. Proceeds from the sweepstakes and a series of shooting events benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Winners of the more than $36,000 in prizes from Kids & Clays’ generous sponsors are:

1st Prize: Greg Peters, Minneapolis, MN won a Blaser, Kids & Clays custom, hand-engraved 12 gauge shotgun with a 30-in. barrel, wood grade 6, transportation case, barrel weight system, stock balancer set, and 5 Briley spectrum chokes. MSRP: $15,000.

2nd Prize: Steve Napier, North Royalton, OH won a 2015 E-Z-GO Blue Express S4 gas-powered shooting cart with four-person capacity, rear seat that converts to a cargo deck, and powered by a 23hp Kawasaki engine. MSRP: $9,450.

3rd Prize: Roger Oswalt, Butler, OH won a Laser Shot Portable Small Arms Training Hunting Education System complete with computer, projector, speakers, and laser-detecting camera, hunter education software, games, IR laser o/u shotgun, rifle, and handgun. MSRP: $7,900.

4th Prize: Denise Nobles, Cochran, GA won a Lincoln Traps Infinity Series Sporter 320-target trap. Yellow spring, Mobile Sporter Cart, medium mid-magazine cover, 100-foot trap release cord with Bryant single-button. MSRP: $3,500.

5th Prize: Kurt Folkmier, Union, MI won a Winchester Ammunition $1,000 gift certificate. MSRP: $1,000.

I never expected to win a prize in this contest. I was just happy to support the Kids & Clays Foundation and Ronald McDonald Houses through my contribution, said Greg Peters, winner of the Blaser shotgun. This is a huge bonus, and I am very grateful to Kids & Clays as well as Blaser for this really exquisite shotgun.

The contest runs annually, generally kicking off with a promotion at the Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show in January. The sweepstakes is made available to all Ronald McDonald Houses who host shooting events supported by the Kids & Clays Foundation. Those sites will number 20 in 15 states for 2016. The Houses receive all proceeds.

The annual sweepstakes provides vital funds to Ronald McDonald Houses to help critically ill children and their families, said Bill Keyser, president of the Kids & Clays Foundation. It is only possible with the great support of national sponsors who are key to the sweeps success. I would encourage all who want to make a difference to participate in the sweepstakes.

The Kids & Clays Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit association and is the charity of choice for the National Skeet Shooting Association, the National Sporting Clays Association, and the Amateur Trap Association.
